 Program PACTS (Policy Analysis for Complex Transport Systems) (September 2010 – today)  Experienced Researcher
Collaboration between two United States universities (MIT and UMASS) and three European universities (University of the Aegean, University of Antwerp, and IST Lisbon)  in the area of “Policy Analysis for Complex Transport Systems”. The project involves the organization and offering of one-week intensive course that will take place in Azores. The course will be offered to practicioners and the proposed program will NOT only contain the traditional material covered in engineering or management schools in the fields of transport and logistics, but it will focus on actual case studies and models that have been developed both in EU and U.S.  (More information on the Pacts website:http://www.pacts-eu-us.net/index.php/summer-course-2012)

Program HERMES (High Efficient and Reliable arrangeMEnts for CroSsmodal Transport (January 2010 – today) – Experienced Researcher
HERMES project provides the development and analysis of new mobility schemes and associated organisational patterns at the interface and interconnection between long distance transport networks and local/regional transport network. Identification of the key requirements of the travellers, the corresponding services and necessary underlying company agreements to provide them, followed by a business plan for the operation. Demonstration in Greece at the corridor of Port of Patras to the Port of Chania in Crete for a period of at least 6 months of field experience. Development of Revealed and Stated Preferences surveys. Discrete choice modeling of travelers’ mode choice behavior.

Program iPORTS (June 2005 – June 2007)Experienced Researcher.
 iPORTS main objective is the use of ICTs and  telematics for ports to regain their competitive edge and become intelligent and secure development gateways. (More information on Chios Port website:http://www.chiosport.gr/)

Pythagoras (January 2005 – January 2007 )Experienced Researcher of Research team “ERMIS”. 
The aim of this project was to examine the level of usage of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) by women and identify their effect on the programming of their daily activities (such as education, leisure, transactions, entertainment) along with their career development. Emphasis is given on the comparison between women that live in rural and less favoured areas in order to examine the differences in perceptions and attitudes towards new technologies.

Program POET (January 2003 – June 2005) - Researcher.
